Hi, I’m Heather! For as long as I can remember, I have documented every moment through taking pictures. After experiencing loss, having those memories to look back on meant so much to me, that I decided to break out of my shell and do photography professionally. I started taking photos professionally in 2018, and went full time in 2021.

When I am not behind the lens, I love spending time outdoors at my property in Indiana camping, caving, hiking , being anywhere around water and spending time with my friends and family! Making memories is so important, and photography allows me to capture those brief moments in time and turn them into everlasting mementos.

I go into each session with the same passion that inspired me to pursue photography, and I look forward to working with you, to give you the best experience, and memories to cherish forever!

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was an orthodontic assistant for 15 years, but decided to pursue photography full time once Covid hit. I do weddings and boudoir with Eleven:11 Photography, and all other sessions (Family, Children, Maternity, etc.) through me - Heather D Photography! I work full time at Locust +Vine, a photography studio and absolutely love it! Being creative has always been my thing whether it be through drawing/ art, performing arts with contemporary dancing and colorguard or just plain old arts + crafts at home. I'm a very hands on person, I love to be organized, and to have fun. I love fall/ spooky season and all things sentimental.

I consider myself easy going and I'm definitely a introvert at heart, but I love getting out there and pushing myself to be creative + meet new people. Learning your stories, and getting to know you and your families means the world to me. It inspires me to create images that will be memorable to you for years to come. I love making people happy, and I'm looking forward to working with you!!!
